  1. Too firm for me.

Too much support! It pushes me to the front of my chair or the couch. It is very firm!

  2. Three Stars

It is just ok. Not as stiff. Not as soft

  3. Too Large, no straps

I bought this on sale but returned it because (1) it is too big (2) it has no strap to keep it in place on the chair. I had purchased a smaller memory foam back pad a few months back and it is smaller and has straps. I could live with it being large but straps are a necessity, in my opinion. I deducted one star for this.

  4. Helped alleviate issues with inflamed SI joint

I had an inflamed SI joint (common cause of lower back pain). I was doing all the right things to make it better (stretching, icing, massage, electro-stimulation), but it was very painful sitting in just about any chair for more than a few minutes. The cushion helped moderate that pain.
The cushion works in several chairs and my Layzboy recliner for me. However it is too big for my wife and it did not work at all when I carried it on a recent plane trip. It was too big for that purpose – forcing me too far forward in the seat.
I recommend the travel size version of this cushion is recommended for smaller people, or travel situations, including driving.
The cushion is very well made and should last for years. Tempurpedic foam is wonderful. Do not accept substitutes or other cheaper foam cushions.

  5. This lumbar cushion is a great size. Some complain of how hard it is

This lumbar cushion is a great size. Some complain of how hard it is, but I would encourage them to use it for a week or two before giving up! After a week, mine softened a lot. I actually liked it best when it was a bit harder, but it is still a nice cushion. I’m glad I bought it. I can’t say how it compares to cheaper alternatives, but I can say that I think this one will last for a long time. Great for car travelling or desk use. (would be nice to have a strap to put around it and chair when at desk but other than that, it’s perfect.

I had purchased a smaller memory foam back pad a few months back and it is smaller and has straps. I could live with it being large but straps are a necessity, in my opinion. 8. Using Everyday

I am using this product to support my back while sitting on a chair. It is good so far for that purpose. One thing I don’t like very much, is that it does not stay there, since it doesn’t have any belt nor velcro type help to keep it on to backrest.

  9. Stiffer than the old memory foam from Tempurpedic.

I left my old Tempurpedic lumbar cushion on an airplane after a LONG flight to Japan. Unfortunate. It was much softer than this new replacement version, which is about the same size but so much stiffer. Still, this is the best travel lumbar cushion because it’s travel size – not car size.

  10. Good thickness but overpriced

My husband needed a thin lumbar support cushion and this works very well for him. It is nice but I cannot understand how it should cost $60 for what it is.

  11. Four Stars

    Good quality

  12. Do you have the travel or full size?

I purchased the travel size and I like it but 1 more in thickness and 3 more inches in height would be perfect
I am checking out the full version however, most of the comments appear to be for tje travel version which us a soft jel and confirms well to the lumbar. I was hoping the full version would be the same but much higher for full support. My back aches with the mid back not being supported as well nut it appears the full versiom is mot as soft as the travel version and its 4″ thick which is to much 3″ would be better

  13. i got it

    The goods are satisfactory.
But I think the weight is wrong.
I bought a pound because it was light.
    Actually, 6.4 pound.
Please explain the product information clearly.

  14. Good product.

This is a great back support, but it must be placed in a chair with a flat back. I was hoping to put in my car, but because the seat back if curved, it wouldn’t fit.

  15. My Husband’s back really appreciates this lumbar cushion

Doesn’t stink like the pillows do. Firm, and gives his back a real support while he is driving. When his back was hurting in bed, he put it beneath his lower back and finally was able to fall asleep.

  16. Perfect, except when cold.

Perfect, does what I need it to do. Only issue is when it’s cold, it’s very hard. I keep it in the car and it takes 10 minutes or so for the cushion to soften in the winter. After it warms up, perfect.

  17. Perfect for those with shallow lumbar curves

I have herniated, torn, and degenerative lumbar discs and have always struggled to find an appropriate lumbar cushion due to a very shallow lumbar curve. All other cushions (even those labeled “slim”) are too large and put pressure on my painful discs and cause me to arch my back. While this cushion is very expensive compared to the majority of the lumbar cushions on the market, it’s well worth the investment. I can barely feel it and it’s easy to travel with due to its compact size. It also fits well on my mobility scooter. I’ve only had this cushion for a few days but in that time I spent 6 hours in the car and felt as well supported as my pain allows (I also have spinal stenosis and nerve compression so I’m never pain-free). I’ll update this later if anything changes.

  18. My Back Instantly Feels Better

Since I have been home most of the time during the pandemic, I have been doing many projects that need a large space, on my kitchen table. I started to feel severe pain in the back of my legs and my back. I knew I needed to do something to make the chair better meet my needs. After much website surfing, I decided to go for the expensive Tempur-Pedic Lumbar Cushion (and also the Tempur-Pedic Chair Cushion.). Immediately they relieved the stress on my back and legs. Some reviews state they find these items too hard. To me they feel just like my Tempur -Pedic bed pillows that I use. The texture has a solidity to it, but at the same time, it is soft and molds itself to you. It does not sink down as cheap foam might. The other complaint I have read about is that the cushions do not have ties to secure it to the chair. My solution, which I have used previously for similar items is to use 3/4 inch black elastic to secure the cushion to the chair. I just sew the ends of the elastic together and place it over the chair and cushion and they do not move when I sit down or get up. The cushions have a dark blue zippered cover that is very soft to the touch. I am very pleased with this purchase. For me it was worth the money.

  19. Best travel lumbar pillow (from someone who has owned MANY)

This is my third one of these lumbar cushions (I’ve left 2 on planes, cause I’m an idiot). I have lower back issues and travel a lot, and having this makes all the difference in my comfort. Despite the high cost I keep re-buying this one just because it’s significantly better than the other options. The things I like most: 1) its just the right stiffness. It seems very hard at first but it adapts TO BODY TEMPERATURE so once it warms up it softens and molds to your back. It gives great support for me. 2) It’s compact. I travel with tons of gear so every bit of space I can save counts and this thing slips into my backpack nicely and is smaller than other cushions I’ve had.
One word of caution – the color is a dark blue. It’s a similar shade of blue to many airplane seats. It blends in very well (which is a plus if you are not trying to advertise your back problems) but at a casual glance you may not even see it there which has resulted in me forgetting to take it with me when I leave.

  20. A must have for all cars

After enduring numerous trips with an uncomfortable seat, it was time for a fix. Having a tempurpedic mattress, I decided to search for a similar product for my car. This cushion is outstanding. It supports the lumbar region for 12-hour trips and prevents the soreness and fatigue you’re familiar with. Don’t travel without this cushion, whether it be across the country or to work.
It does get stiff in the cold, but a few minutes of contact alleviates this issue.

  21. Great except for the ugly tag on it

Best pillow I have found for my lumbar stenosis. I tried the full size one, but it’s not shaped the same and is actually uncomfortable for me. I recommend this one instead, even if you are using it for a couch. One complaint is the stupid tag they put on it. Even when you cut it off, you have ugly stitching left over.

  22. If your driver’s seat has no lumbar support you need this

I can have mid back pain driving any car. If the car has power seats, I can eventually get it set comfortably. However, I just got a new Civic that doesn’t have power seats or lumbar support, so I knew I would need a pillow. I had bought a Tempur-cushion years ago for another car. So I looked for this on Amazon. It is perfect. It gives me the exact support I need. It is easy to set in the car seat.

  23. Finally a lumbar support I like

After trying out SEVERAL lumbar supports I bought off Amazon, I finally find one that works great for me! All the other ones I’ve tried are always TOO THICK or BULKY or TOO SOFT to offer any real support. This one fits perfectly for me in my car seat. Not to thick, not too wide or too long. And it’s FIRM enough (but not overly firm) to offer great back support and good posture while sitting. Worth every penny!

  24. Great for Back Issues

I have a bulging disk, and sitting for long periods of time, hurt my posture and back. This was prescribed to me by my physical therapist. It takes the pressure off the pain and it really is a lifesaver. I’ve actually tried different brands and this is a good one … it costs more, but is really worth it.

  25. Tempur-Pedic FTW

So far so good after a week. Fits perfectly for the car seat and alleviates any lower back or sciatic nerve pain that occurs in an uncomfortable car w/o much lumbar support. The 15” cushion is a bit too large for a car so the travel 10” one works just fine. Hoping it holds up over time. I previously tried two diff cushions that U sit on from other companies and they failed so this lumbar cushion was a pleasant surprise. Nice support for lower back and si joint. Tempur-Pedic clearly has their act together.

  26. Just what I was looking for!

The Tempur-Pedic travel size lumbar cushion is really the only thing that works for me. I been buying the whole store, trying to find what I need. Then I found this; wanted to try out because of the size (10x12x2.) Most of the back cushions I tried were too big, like 16×16 and were 4″ in depth. I was looking for something small, so I tried a lumbar d-shape lumbar roll, which was the right length and width, but still was 4″ in depth. Also, all the back cushions I tried had memory foam, but got too hot from my body heat.
This Tempur-Pedic travel size lumbar cushion is just right for me. It’s small enough and still is thin enough in depth. The memory foam in this doesn’t get hot like my other products. It feels so much more comfortable that it’s the right size and comfort (heat wise.) Finally a product that works!!!

  27. The very best money can buy, the most comfortable, and the most durable.

I’ve had cushions from this company for over 30 years and they never wear out.
There is no better cushion for back support, because as you sit with it, it conforms better and better to your back.
Well these cost more than other brands, they are worth every penny and will last much longer than any other cushions.

  28. The Best!

I’ve tried dozens of lumbar pillows that I can leave in my car, without feeling bulky or Cheap! I really love the Tempur-L! It fits nicely in my car seats, as if it were custom made for my car. I use it in several of my cars and it fits them all great! It’s also light and small enough to bring with you to restaurants and it’s perfect for travel. I put it inside my backpack, when I fly. I highly recommend!

  29. Perfect for those with shallow lumbar curves

  34. Love this thing

Great investment if you have back issues, I highly recommend this. I take it in my car all the time.

  35. Nice and firm support!

I ordered 3 different types of support cushions, and this one gave me the best support and comfort of the bunch. Very happy with the quality and support!

  36. Great product!

This pillow saves my back! Could not live without it.

  37. Absolutely the best lumbar pillow!

This is the best lumbar pillow I’ve ever found. It’s a must-have for my lower-back problems.

  38. Perfect!

Exactly what I was looking for – not too big like other cheaper “lumbar” pillows. I use it every day and I would definitely buy it again.

  39. I travel in my car 5-6 a day straight and …

I travel in my car 5-6 a day straight and this Tempur-Pedicure lumbar cushion has helped me tremendously.
I no longer have hip pain since getting this cushion. I have had the cushion for a few months and it is holding up very well.

  40. Good support.

Works perfectly. Too bad it doesn’t have a strap to hold it against the back of the chair. Had to use a belt. Recommend it.

  41. Deffo!

Just get it. This is my second one I’ve purchased.

  42. Great support for my back

We now own three of these back supports. They are great.

  43. fits perfectly in my honda

This is the second one I’ve owned, and the second Honda I’ve put it in. The first one finally started to come apart after many years of use. Worth every penny.

  44. Comfy

So comfy after I received mine that I decided to order one fro my wife.

  45. Firm, slim back support

This is exactly what I was looking for, slim and firm back support when I’m driving. I love it!

  46. The Perfect Size for Lumbar Support

Fabulous lumbar support. The right size. I use this in my car, in my recliner & on a plane.

  47. Great back support

Have not used for travel yet however I do use it for extra back support in my easy chair, planning a 1500 mile trip later on this month will try it then.

  48. Even Use It In My Car!

    Very comfortable.

  49. It works!

I love it! What a relief for my lower back!

  50. Great support

I love this pillow! It helps my back so much! I take it everywhere I go!

  51. A perfect Solution

I have sever Arthritis in my lower spine. I tried several other lower lumbar support pillows for the car. They felt to bulky for safe driving. This pillow was the perfect solution for me. I never leave home with out it.

  52. Made flying a much better experience for me.

I highly recommend getting a travel pillow for lumbar support if you fly frequently.
Small and easy to carry. Removable covering that can be washed.

  53. Support

    Liked

  54. Totally worth the money!

This is totally worth the extra money. It’s a dense memory foam and offers great support for people with sciatica pain.

  55. Pricey but worth it

You simply cannot buy a better pillow!

  56. Great back pillow.

Love this pillow. Gives good back support.

  57. Wonderful find!

    Product as described. Wonderful find!

  58. Excellent lumbar support while traveling

This lumbar travel cushion is fantastic. I did use it during my airplane flight and liked it. I later used it in the hotel room and fell in love with the support my back received. I highly recommend this product, especially if you have back issues.

  59. Five Stars

Excellent product the real back favor. This one was a replacement for one I purchased over 10 years ago

  60. A good product

  62. Great lumbar support

Tempur Pedic lumbar support pad comes with washable cover (zippered) and is excellent for use with a heating pad or stand alone. The perfect portable pad conforms to your body and is exceptionally durable.

  63. Best thing for a long flight firm enough and because …

Best thing for a long flight firm enough and because it’s memory foam, it’s all good after a few minutes

  64. This is portable and you can take it anywhere! My lower back loves it!

Amazing lumbar cushion! I have had one of these for a quite a few years. I ordered an extra one!

  65. Great lumbar support

This was exactly what I needed for comfort in the car.

  66. Happy L-4 !

My daughter uses one and I finally caved in a bought one. Really helps support my back because I sit in front of the computer much too long sometimes.

  67. Five Stars

Very comfortable and is lightweight and easy to travel with.

  68. Very convenient and

    Very convenient and confortsble

  69. Five Stars

LOVE it as it helps support my back.

  70. Five Stars

    So so

  71. use this as a pillow for tummy sleepers

This is the only pillow thin enough to not make my neck stiff. I am a tummy sleeper and most pillows, even the ones, made for tummy sleeping, are way to thick and uncomfortable to sleep on. I even have the small travel size one but it is still not as perfect as this one. And it is even small enough to put your arms up over your head while most people wind up sleeping on thier arms because the pillows are big. Not good for circulation. Love this pillow! Cant live without it!! If you’re a tummy sleeper you will LOVE! ( I know this is a lumbar pillow, but it’s perfect!)

  72. Five Stars

    Excellent

  73. Small and excellent for lumbar support

This is a cushion I have purchased before. Small and excellent for lumbar support. Most lumbar cushions I have found to be too large and especially too deep; this one is just right for cars and certain other chairs. I find saddle-type cushions best for hard wooden chairs but this cushion works well on chairs where there is some lumbar support but not enough. This is my 3rd one; I keep one in each car and one in a chair inside the house.

  74. Worth a few extra dollars

This is the best seat cushion for a car seat. I tried the cheaper ones but found them not nearly as comfy. Even if you don’t have back problems, the cushioning can be protective.

  75. Works great on my back

Bought this for my SUV for those long drives. Works great on my back, especially when I now use it with the “On the Go Orthopedic Seating Cushion” for my bottom.

  76. so soft

A little thick but the heavenly soft tempur-pedic foam is wonderful and this cushion will bend as you need it to.

  77. I bought one of these for myself and love it. I have a friend that borrowed mine …

I bought one of these for myself and love it. I have a friend that borrowed mine to see how she liked it. I ordered this one for her.

  78. Great support

This cushion really gives the back wonderful support! I can sit back in my lounge chair and my back doesn’t have that painful pull.

  79. Five Stars

This is a great lumbar cushion. It’s the second one I’ve purchased.

  80. Need one.

    Work chair aid.

  81. I love

    YES, I love it

  82. Travel in comfort

    As promised. Excellent travel item

  83. Five Stars

    Great for posture and comfort.

  84. Five Stars

Feels great. A little firm especially after sitting in a cold car. Very high quality.

  85. Five Stars

Works very well in an airplane!

  86. Five Stars

This is an absolute life saver can’t live without it

  87. Met my expectations

Definitely represents good value. I owned the other tempurpedic lumbar cushion (purchased for $75) and gave it to mom. This one is about 1/2 the width, but does the job for 1/3 of the price. Thumbs up!

  88. Tempur-Pedic COMFORT

Don’t be fooled by look a likes or copy cat manufacturers! Nothing beats the magic of Tempur-Pedic, we have their pillows, lumbar support and their top of the line mattress and we have no more back pain and a very restful nights sleep. Perfect for those who suffer from Fibromyalgia etc.

  89. Great lumbar support

This is super product as it provides great lumbar support. It’s compact size means it can be easily used with many different kinds of seats. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a portable lumbar support.

  90. Perfecto

Me encantó. Es del tamaño perfecto para traer en el carro y bajar al trabajo. Mi padre con dos hernias lumbares comenta que es de la firmeza adecuada para él.

  91. perfect for your back

excellent and solved my back pain

  92. Comodidad y portabilidad

El tamaño y lo portátil es excelente y sobre todo la calidad muy contento con mi compra

  93. Was looking for a lumbar pillow for long plane rides

It is super comfortable for plane rides. EXACTLY what I was looking for

  94. Five Stars

I find it useful when I have to wait at doctors’ offices

  95. FIRM cushion

High quality tempur product, but be advised that the memory foam in this pillow is really, really firm. For example, it takes quite a bit of effort to make a small impression in the pillow when squeezing it.
In my case it wasn’t flexible enough to conform to my back w/o causing discomfort. May just be a function of my back, but I thought I’d make a note of it – it’s the hardest lumbar support I’ve ever come across.
If you’re looking for very firm, this is a well made product.

  96. Not bad

This works well with some seats and not at all with others. When it does work it does a very good job.

  97. Needs a strap

Very comfortable but should needs a strap to secure to back of chair – constantly falls off.

  98. Disappointed

Itʻs not comfortable, itʻs SO HARD! It also takes so much space, I wasnʻt using my office chair properly, couldnʻt even touch the back of the chair with my back. It also has no way to attached it to the chair. So the cushion falls down onto the seat and you have to adjust and prop it up every time you want to sit down. There is no point to this cushion!

  99. Very firm

    Too hard. Uncomfortable

  100. Very hard but may work for a car

May work well for a car but it’s very firm and turns rock hard with cooler temperature
