These are great cushions in the car or on a dining chair … –
These are great cushions in the car or on a dining chair or in the office. My husband and I both preferred the original shape vs. this new version, but it’s still a great cushion. This version feels more dense, is thicker, and has a forced sitting position because of the molding. The others could be shifted around and sat on in any position easier. But since this is what there is now, we buy them and use them and are still pretty happy with them.

Good, but needs a few –
As a helicopter pilot, I use this seat cushion for up to 8 hours a day to reduce fatigue and prevent back, leg, and knee pains. It’s a lifesaver for those purposes, but it has a few design flaws. I considered buying an Oregon Aero seat cushion with the added lumbar support ($250 total and long wait for delivery) but chose this one because of the price.
Likes:
Very comfortable for sitting long periods of time. Durable so far. The cushion hasn’t broken down at all over the past 6 months of use.
Dislikes:
A bit too thick. Slippery cover causes the cushion to slide around on seat, especially leather seats. It feels like sitting on a wood plank in cold weather (below 50 degrees F), so if you leave it in a cold car overnight, you won’t like it in the morning. A built-in lumbar support (like the Oregon Aero product) would be nice also.

Not as comfortable as an older model –
I have an older tempur-pedic that I bought in the 1990s. The older one is more comfortable than this newer one that I just purchased. The newer one is much harder and conforms less easily. Maybe they have changed the product composition? But it is still more comfortable than a regular cushion or the standard chair cushion. The cushion itself and the material used in the cushion are USA sourced. The cover is from China.

I have been spending more time at home working on projects at my kitchen table. After awhile the kitchen chair felt hard and uncomfortable for my legs and back. I am a fan of my Tempur-Pedic bed pillows, so I decided to order this office chair pillow. I have found it to be very comfortable and just what I needed. It remains firm, but is still soft against my legs. I no longer feel the hard chair underneath me or anything digging into to me. So I am able to sit on the kitchen chair for long periods of time. The pillow is covered in a soft zippered pillow case.

Its stinky, but I knew it would be, so at least I was prepared for that. Sadly, all memory foam, esp. from this co. is smelly. Its also firm but contours to your fanny, its much softer than my chair that I bought this for, and it looks like it will last longer than 2-3 weeks before pancaking out. I’m guessing it will last 4-6 months. Sad how low are expectations become when we know we will buy something that will not last a year and have to ask is it worth this price knowing it will have to be replaced in less than a year when you know that it should last many years for this price!

Excellent for SI/low back/IT band pain if sitting bothers you –
. I carry it in the bag to sporting events and on planes/trains. You don’t even need to take it out of the bag to use it, so it becomes very portable. It’s very lightweight, but without the bag, it’s kind of awkward to lug around.
Only downside is it doesn’t hold up as long as Tempur-Pedic advertises. It gets squished down if you use it a lot and I replace mine once a year or so.

PERFECT FOR INJURED. Compact and durable –
I had a failed hip replacement that makes it very uncomfortable to sit on anything hard or even a hard cushion. I was carrying my Tempur-Pedic pillow with me , which was cumbersome and looked ridiculous .
Not only is this pad more elegant and not embarrassing to bring with me to the doctor, it is much denser than the sleep pillow and therefore a much more comfortable for me. The weight of the phone is very superior to anything I have used to sit on . After three years of not being able to sit at a regular computer desk , i’m looking forward to utilising this pad daily and returning to the novel I was unable to sit & write.

Best Ortho Seat Cushion I’ve Tried –
I have had three spinal fusions as well as total hip replacements and revisions. As such, it is hard for me to sit on an unpadded surface for very long. I’ve tried other brands, but the Tempur-Pedic brand of seat cushion (this one) is by far the best. It holds its thickness and cushioning while you are sitting on it, rather than sinking down and not being helpful like so many others. I would highly recommend this seat cushion to anyone who needs to prevent pain while sitting. Good luck to you!

Supportive and durable! –
This is the third cushion I have purchased. I suffer chronic low back pain from an injury in 2000. I bought the first cushion about 10-12 years ago. It has held up really well and it allows me to sit on hard chairs or the floor whereas without it, it’s very painful for me to sit on hard surfaces. I have left a cushion at each of my kids’ homes so I l can sit on the floor to play with my grandkids. It makes a huge difference for me!

Pleasantly surprised! –
I’ve tried various “memory foam” cushions thinking that the difference between Tempur-Pedic and memory foam would be minimal. I was mistaken.
When I first received the parcel it seemed much too light to provide adequate cushioning and dissapointment started to set in. But as soon as I tried the cushion out on my favorite chair I knew this cushion was something special. It is by far the most comfortable seat cushion I’ve had. Even though it is very light there is no “bottoming out” (pun intended), just pure comfort.

Very nice cushion. Pretty pricey but I work from home and just use a nice solid wooden chair all day long and with this cushion (I am 50 by the way) I can sit there all day. I’d need to get up.
It slides around a bit so maybe they should make one liner option to be a tad grippy, otherwise very satisfied. At first you want to plop down on it for the cushion but that’s not how the Tempur-Pedic stuff works. It slowly gives in and forms to your body.

Cushion is very supportive and hasn’t yet caved or flattened after sitting on it for 8 hours or more (i’ve had it for 2 months now and will be back to update it if the condition degrades). Be sure to buy some non-slip rug tape to put on the underside because it will definitely move around, a lot!

Ive noticed the price steadily creeping up on this tempurpedic seat cushion on amazon. Mom’s doctor recommended this by name to alleviate the pain from her frequent dubiquitous ulcers. At first I was skeptical, but after she had used this in her power recliner for just a week, her wound started to heal on its own. Amazing! It had never done this before. Usually we had to make several trips to the wound care center. The only other thing we did was apply silvadine burn creme to the wound 3 days a week aster her baths. Highly recommend for the handicapped.

I love this cushion. It has been a godsend during healing of a broken hip but it works for any discomforts of sitting in chairs. Perfect for an average size person. I have spinal stenosis and this cushion is extremely helpful when sitting. I can sit much longer in before having to do some stretching. I find it helpful in the car also. It is worth the money!!!! “What the!? These are as hard as rock” is something I said when I first sat on this. But the weird part is, I didn’t get pain after sitting hours on this. It was surprising, but I guess that’s memory foam for you. Don’t get this if you’re looking for something soft, get this if you’re looking to improve your posture and reduce butt pain in the office. Now I know how monks feel when they meditate on a rock, and why they do it.

The ridge in the middle of this seat cushion is intended to be helpful, but I found it to be limiting as far as finding a comfortable position. Also, I purchased it for an office chair and it’s actually smaller than the seat so it made the office chair less comfortable. The denseness of the foam is great and it’s definitely well made, but they could improve the product by designing it to fit better in a chair.

Bought this for my pilot boyfriend as a Valentine’s day gift. It’s firm at first and definitely adds an extra inch to your height, but boy, no car or plane seat will be the same after this. Wonderful product –
I have had one of these for about 15 years. It is incredibly comfortable. It had daily use in my office for 12 of those years. Now that I am retired I use it at home in my home office. It is in the same condition as it was the first day I used it 15 years ago. The cover washes up wonderfully well. And both the cushion and the cover are made in the U.S.A. It doesn’t get much better than that: a long lasting, high quality product made right here at home. I just bought another one as a gift for somebody with hip and low back pain. I’m pretty sure this is genuine but as an another review said this is a bit too small, it could be wider so the leg cutouts fit more people. Foam is a good feel, and the material covering isn’t bad.

Cushion that doesn’t shrink when you sit on it –
I have been looking for a cushion that didn’t shrink when I sat on it, and I had tried various stores locally, but they were all gel or squishy material that halved when sat upon. I needed it for raising me up some so I could see better. This is better by far than any of the others I tried, even from catalogs. Plus it’s comfortable!!!!

Good but cannot be fixed to the chair –
It really bothers me that it moves all the time. My 4 yr old son had a seat cushion that comes with 2 belts and it is completely fixed to the chair. I wish this cushion we have the same. It is comfortable, but again, a bit annoying.

This cushion is a bit thicker than I initially expected, but that also means it provides ample cushioning for long periods of sitting down. Product is certified made in the Denmark. Cushion cover is removable and can be washed. For those considering a purchase, do make sure your chairs have adjustable seat heights, because the cushion will add about 2 inches to the seat height.

Hard as a rock –
I bought the Tempur seat cushion because I thought it would be soft — no. It is hard, but it is contoured, so it seems to me helping the crushed nerve in my back end. Another warning, if it gets cold, it gets harder. I think it is a good product, but it is not what I expected.

Out of the three, I preferred this Tempur-Pedic over the other two – which I returned. The Amazon cushion was just a sponge with a cover on it, and the Purple cushion felt strange and squishy to sit on – also, the Purple cushion was almost $100 – so, no.

These are great cushions in the car or on a dining chair … –
These are great cushions in the car or on a dining chair or in the office. My husband and I both preferred the original shape vs. this new version, but it’s still a great cushion. This version feels more dense, is thicker, and has a forced sitting position because of the molding. The others could be shifted around and sat on in any position easier. But since this is what there is now, we buy them and use them and are still pretty happy with them.
Good, but needs a few –
As a helicopter pilot, I use this seat cushion for up to 8 hours a day to reduce fatigue and prevent back, leg, and knee pains. It’s a lifesaver for those purposes, but it has a few design flaws. I considered buying an Oregon Aero seat cushion with the added lumbar support ($250 total and long wait for delivery) but chose this one because of the price.
Likes:
Very comfortable for sitting long periods of time. Durable so far. The cushion hasn’t broken down at all over the past 6 months of use.
Dislikes:
A bit too thick. Slippery cover causes the cushion to slide around on seat, especially leather seats. It feels like sitting on a wood plank in cold weather (below 50 degrees F), so if you leave it in a cold car overnight, you won’t like it in the morning. A built-in lumbar support (like the Oregon Aero product) would be nice also.

I have an older tempur-pedic that I bought in the 1990s. The older one is more comfortable than this newer one that I just purchased. The newer one is much harder and conforms less easily. Maybe they have changed the product composition? But it is still more comfortable than a regular cushion or the standard chair cushion. The cushion itself and the material used in the cushion are USA sourced. The cover is from China.

I am a fan of my Tempur-Pedic bed pillows, so I decided to order this office chair pillow. I have found it to be very comfortable and just what I needed. It remains firm, but is still soft against my legs. I no longer feel the hard chair underneath me or anything digging into to me. So I am able to sit on the kitchen chair for long periods of time. The pillow is covered in a soft zippered pillow case.

Its stinky, but I knew it would be, so at least I was prepared for that. Sadly, all memory foam, esp. from this co. is smelly. Its also firm but contours to your fanny, its much softer than my chair that I bought this for, and it looks like it will last longer than 2-3 weeks before pancaking out. I’m guessing it will last 4-6 months. Sad how low are expectations become when we know we will buy something that will not last a year and have to ask is it worth this price knowing it will have to be replaced in less than a year when you know that it should last many years for this price!

. I carry it in the bag to sporting events and on planes/trains. You don’t even need to take it out of the bag to use it, so it becomes very portable. It’s very lightweight, but without the bag, it’s kind of awkward to lug around.
Only downside is it doesn’t hold up as long as Tempur-Pedic advertises. It gets squished down if you use it a lot and I replace mine once a year or so.

I had a failed hip replacement that makes it very uncomfortable to sit on anything hard or even a hard cushion. I was carrying my Tempur-Pedic pillow with me , which was cumbersome and looked ridiculous .
Not only is this pad more elegant and not embarrassing to bring with me to the doctor, it is much denser than the sleep pillow and therefore a much more comfortable for me. The weight of the phone is very superior to anything I have used to sit on . After three years of not being able to sit at a regular computer desk , i’m looking forward to utilising this pad daily and returning to the novel I was unable to sit & write.
Best Ortho Seat Cushion I’ve Tried –
I have had three spinal fusions as well as total hip replacements and revisions. As such, it is hard for me to sit on an unpadded surface for very long. I’ve tried other brands, but the Tempur-Pedic brand of seat cushion (this one) is by far the best. It holds its thickness and cushioning while you are sitting on it, rather than sinking down and not being helpful like so many others. I would highly recommend this seat cushion to anyone who needs to prevent pain while sitting. Good luck to you!
Supportive and durable! –
This is the third cushion I have purchased. I suffer chronic low back pain from an injury in 2000. I bought the first cushion about 10-12 years ago. It has held up really well and it allows me to sit on hard chairs or the floor whereas without it, it’s very painful for me to sit on hard surfaces. I have left a cushion at each of my kids’ homes so I l can sit on the floor to play with my grandkids. It makes a huge difference for me!

I’ve tried various “memory foam” cushions thinking that the difference between Tempur-Pedic and memory foam would be minimal. I was mistaken.
When I first received the parcel it seemed much too light to provide adequate cushioning and dissapointment started to set in. But as soon as I tried the cushion out on my favorite chair I knew this cushion was something special. It is by far the most comfortable seat cushion I’ve had. Even though it is very light there is no “bottoming out” (pun intended), just pure comfort.

It slides around a bit so maybe they should make one liner option to be a tad grippy, otherwise very satisfied. At first you want to plop down on it for the cushion but that’s not how the Tempur-Pedic stuff works. It slowly gives in and forms to your body.

Cushion is very supportive and hasn’t yet caved or flattened after sitting on it for 8 hours or more (i’ve had it for 2 months now and will be back to update it if the condition degrades). Be sure to buy some non-slip rug tape to put on the underside because it will definitely move around, a lot!

Ive noticed the price steadily creeping up on this tempurpedic seat cushion on amazon. Mom’s doctor recommended this by name to alleviate the pain from her frequent dubiquitous ulcers. At first I was skeptical, but after she had used this in her power recliner for just a week, her wound started to heal on its own. Amazing! It had never done this before. Usually we had to make several trips to the wound care center. The only other thing we did was apply silvadine burn creme to the wound 3 days a week aster her baths. Highly recommend for the handicapped.

Durable comfort cushion –
I love this cushion. It has been a godsend during healing of a broken hip but it works for any discomforts of sitting in chairs. Perfect for an average size person. Does have a smell at first but it does get better. Do wish there were options for additional seat covers. And it’s more expensive but it doesn’t flatten either.

I took a desk job two years ago after working in the field all of my life. The chairs weren’t so good and I started having lower back issues and sciatica nerve pain. “What the!? These are as hard as rock” is something I said when I first sat on this. But the weird part is, I didn’t get pain after sitting hours on this. It was surprising, but I guess that’s memory foam for you. Don’t get this if you’re looking for something soft, get this if you’re looking to improve your posture and reduce butt pain in the office. Now I know how monks feel when they meditate on a rock, and why they do it.

The ridge in the middle of this seat cushion is intended to be helpful, but I found it to be limiting as far as finding a comfortable position. Also, I purchased it for an office chair and it’s actually smaller than the seat so it made the office chair less comfortable. The denseness of the foam is great and it’s definitely well made, but they could improve the product by designing it to fit better in a chair.

Bought this for my pilot boyfriend as a Valentine’s day gift. It’s firm at first and definitely adds an extra inch to your height, but boy, no car or plane seat will be the same after this. In his words, it was like sitting on the tears of angels. But maybe that was just his butt talking. I am buying one for myself. Wonderful product –
I have had one of these for about 15 years. It is incredibly comfortable. It had daily use in my office for 12 of those years. Now that I am retired I use it at home in my home office. It is in the same condition as it was the first day I used it 15 years ago. The cover washes up wonderfully well. And both the cushion and the cover are made in the U.S.A. It doesn’t get much better than that: a long lasting, high quality product made right here at home. I just bought another one as a gift for somebody with hip and low back pain. I hope that it helps him as well as it has helped me through the years.

Comfort seat –
I take this cushion around the house to every chair I sit on. Very comfortable. I like the removable, washable cover.
Too firm –
After using this for several months it seems to have lost much of it’s comfort and cushion. I don’t recommend this to anyone. Very uncomfortable!
Woks well –
Great addition to an air chair. Relieves sore but and seems to help back strain. Top quality construction. Pricey but should hold up based on the quality construction.

Pain relief with my Tempur car cushion –
Love this cushion! Travelling for long periods of time causes me a great deal of hip pain but the Tempur cushion proved to be the solution.

Very happy with this seat cushion. Helps stop the nerve pain I ususally have when I get up from my chair. I can seat on this cushion longer than without a cushion.
Cushion that doesn’t shrink when you sit on it –
I have been looking for a cushion that didn’t shrink when I sat on it, and I had tried various stores locally, but they were all gel or squishy material that halved when sat upon. I needed it for raising me up some so I could see better. This is better by far than any of the others I tried, even from catalogs. Plus it’s comfortable!!!!
Sitting Pretty –
I have a “task” chair (office chair without arms), which was becoming more and more uncomfortable all the time. This cushion is great–firm but “cushy.” I like it so much, I’m about to order one for my husband.
Good but cannot be fixed to the chair –
It really bothers me that it moves all the time. My 4 yr old son had a seat cushion that comes with 2 belts and it is completely fixed to the chair. I wish this cushion we have the same. It is comfortable, but again, a bit annoying.

This cushion is a bit thicker than I initially expected, but that also means it provides ample cushioning for long periods of sitting down. Product is certified made in the Denmark. Cushion cover is removable and can be washed. For those considering a purchase, do make sure your chairs have adjustable seat heights, because the cushion will add about 2 inches to the seat height.

Hard as a rock –
I bought the Tempur seat cushion because I thought it would be soft — no. It is hard, but it is contoured, so it seems to me helping the crushed nerve in my back end. Another warning, if it gets cold, it gets harder. I think it is a good product, but it is not what I expected.
